The Mute Vintners are Kym Teusner, Warwick Murray and Smashingbottles. Formed in December 2007, with the purchase of an 45 acre property called Woodstock in Angaston, The Mute Vintners first release was the 2005 Square1 Cabernet/Shiraz which took off in the Queensland market. The brand was rethought over the summer of 08/09 after being trademarked by a British spirits company. Chardonnay - Fresh, zesty, fruit-driven. Cabernet Sauvignon – Full rich chocolate and cassis palate. Fresh, stylish with a refined structure. Shiraz – Big plummy licorice fruit. Soft, long well-balanced palate.
