Delta
2008 International Wine Challenge Awards (London)"White Winemaker of the Year" - Matt Thompson
2008 Delta Vineyard Marlborough Pinot Noir
Good to see some more affordable pinot noir options coming out of New Zealand. The basic flavours of this wine are good. It tastes of dark cherries and violets and has more than a lick of spice, though itÕs most characterised by its rusty, minerally tannins.

"The Delta philosophy is to produce Pinot Noir with vibrant fruit, good tannin structure, excellent acidity and well integrated subtle oak." Matt Thompson - Winemaker
