2008 Vertigo "25GR" Riesling
Located just south east of the village of Lenswood , at 450 metres altitude: west facing on gentle slope, on lean and shallow clayloam with gravel and quartz scattered throughout. The block was planted in 1994. Twenty-five grams/litre residual sugar.
2008 La Linea Rose
This is plump smelling and packed with strawberries; a packed handful of fruit, with cream and peel. Smells great. Attacks tight with peely zesty pippy fruit and quite a bit of tannin chew. ThereÕs almost a celery salt character to it. Lots of pip and zesty flint to finish. This is damn tasty. Tim White, The Financial Review 26-28th September '08
